Le Diable, Sport canyoning Grenoble
Canyoning du Diable, near Saint Christophe en Oisans, is one of the great canyoning courses in the Oisans massif near Grenoble.
This is a difficult canyoning course that requires a good command of abseiling and whitewater travel.
The start of the canyon begins below the water catchment, and right from the start the rock is tortured by the tumultuous waters that flow through this gorge in summer when the glaciers melt. This creates pretty shapes and numerous basins.
Depending on the year, numerous technical jumps are possible, and many abseils are made in the active area with a substantial flow.
Water has sculpted the granite, creating highly aesthetic shapes.
To guarantee maximum enjoyment, the activity is supervised by 2 instructors for a maximum of 7 people.
For more than 7 hours, you’ll travel through the gorges du Diable in turquoise-blue water that’s well worth the detour!
