Discover canyoning for the first time
Canyoning is an activity rich in discovery and sensations for youngsters and beginners alike, with numerous courses in Isère and Savoie allowing you to start calmly and take the time to learn the different techniques.
You can start canyoning as early as age 8, provided you’re comfortable in the water. The most suitable courses for children are the Ternèze canyoning course near the village of Curienne, above Chambéry and Aix-les-Bains.
The upper part of the Furon canyon, in the foothills of the Vercors above Grenoble and 1 hour from Lyon, offers a gentle introduction to canyoning.
