How will your outing in the Infernet canyon go?

You’ve chosen to get off the beaten track by exploring the canyon de l’Infernet, 15 minutes from Grenoble, this canyon located between Quaix en Chartreuse and Saint Egreve offers an exceptional adventure.
After booking online or by phone, we’ll contact you to make sure this canyon is right for you, as it’s more impressive than other canyons in the area such as the canyon du Furon or canyon du Versoud. Following this check, we’ll send you an e-mail with the GPS location of the parking lot so that you can plan your route from Grenoble or Lyon, for example. You’ll also need to enter your height and weight in the e-mail, so that we can select the right equipment for you.

We’ll meet up at the start parking lot, and after getting kitted out with harness, helmet and neoprene wetsuit, we’ll set up the car shuttle and start the 15-minute downhill approach walk.
Once you’re in the canyon, the atmosphere is immediately palpable as the gorge opens up in front of you.
Before setting off on the first abseil, we’ll give you a safety briefing to explain how we’re going to negotiate the 1st obstacle, depending on your level and canyoning experience. This briefing is very important, and allows you to tackle the Infernet canyon with confidence.

Together, we’ll explore the canyon and show you all the games this magnificent gorge has to offer. We’ll also take some photos, so that you can keep a souvenir of this magnificent excursion in the Infernet canyon.

It’s rare to find such a wild and rugged canyon just 15 minutes from Grenoble and 1 hour from Lyon. The only canyons that can rival the beauty of the Infernet are the Groin canyon and the canyon des Ecouges intégral.

The flat walk back will be along a shady canal, and in 30 minutes we’ll reach the cars left at the bottom, from where we’ll unhitch and pick up the cars left at the top.
