The day version of Isère’s most beautiful canyons
Located between Grenoble and Valence, in the northern foothills of the Vercors massif, Les Ecouges can be enjoyed in a variety of ways.
Comprising three sections, each of which can be completed independently:
– Upper part of the Ecouges canyon
– Lower part of the Ecouges canyon
– Tributary of the racleterre river
The version we propose is a combination of the lower part and the part that receives the Racleterre tributary. This formula adds interesting obstacles, such as a 45m abseil, a 9m jump or a tyro splassh!
What’s more, it allows you to set off at a different time, avoiding the groups and enjoying a picnic at the foot of the big waterfall in the heart of the Ecouges canyon.
An immersive moment before tackling the more intense, fun part of the canyon.
We’ll take care of all your equipment, including harnesses, helmets, ropes, wetsuits and waterproof containers for your picnic. We leave you free to bring your own picnic lunch.
Be careful in the canyons, as bags get rough, so don’t take sensitive fruit or vegetables, preferring a well-packed sandwich.

It’s a long canyon, so you’ll need to be sporty, but no previous canyoning experience is necessary.
What is the highest jump in the lower part of the Ecouges canyon?
In the lower section, the highest jump is 5m, but in the daytime version there is a 9m jump, which is never compulsory.
