New easy canyoning for beginners, families and children

Following the change in access to the Furon upper section, which was one of the canyons with variable access depending on the level of the participants. Now transformed into a canyon with only one access and a long, tedious return walk. As well as compulsory obstacles for all, which will create huge waiting times on the big summer weekends.
Terra Nova Canyoning has decided to create 2 new offers.
For a long time now we have been canyoning the lower Ecouges in its entirety with our customers
Entrance to the cascade bridge and exit to the Gaffe footbridge. This year, in collaboration with Vertical Way, 2 new canyoning offers have been created:

Canyoning Ecouges la Gaffe

Suitable for the very young, this route combines the descent of a tributary of the Ecouges, the “Racleterre”, with the final section of the Ecouges canyon. We start in the tributary with 2 small slides and 2 abseiling descents on a natural anchor of 3 m and 4 m. This will be an easy opportunity to learn the abseiling technique. In fact, the inclined waterfalls make it easier to position the body, followed by a narrow slide and a basin where many jumps can be made. This bowl allows you to master the technique of jumping fromdifferent heights between 1 m and 3 m. We then climb back up to the left bank to reach the start of the Tyrolienne or the 9m high jump. For minors, it’s Tyrolienne Splash , and for teenagers, it’s 6m. Then there’s another jump that can be done over and over again, and the final, totally insane slide ! It can be done in any direction! And because it was so cool, we did another lap, varying the obstacles a little.

For canyoning at Ecouges la Gaffe, the approach and return journey takes 15 minutes from a private parking lot
The individual rate is 45€/pers, the group rate for 6 people or more is 40€/pers.

Canyoning Ecouges low day

A day of canyoning in Isère gives you a better understanding of the activity as a whole, with the possibility of picnicking in sumptuous surroundings. It’s a chance to get a staggered start compared to the other groups, and so enjoy having the canyon almost to ourselves.
The Ecouges all-day package makes all this possible, with a 10am start (great for sleeping in),
and a picnic in the middle of the Ecouges canyon before setting off again.

With less walking than the furon canyoning day trip, but just as many obstacles and a wilder environment, the Ecouges basse canyoning day trip is suitable for everyone aged 10 and over.

You’ll discover the great abseils accompanied by your instructor, who will give you all the information you need to position yourself correctly and ensure your safety. The canyon’s many jumps and slides are also a treat for young and old alike. The finale of the Ecouges canyon, “La gaffe”, will bring your trip to a beautiful close.
The approach to the Ecouges basse canyon takes 6 minutes, and the return 10 minutes, with a shuttle bus of course.
The individual rate is €80/person, the group rate for 6 people or more is €75/person.
