The ultimate introductory canyon!
The Versoud canyon is a favorite spot for outdoor sports enthusiasts and thrill-seekers. Situated in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, this canyon is a real natural gem in the commune of La Rivière in Isère, and is one of the must-do descents in the Vercors. Located right next to the Ecouges canyon, it is easier than its big brother.
This canyon near Grenoble is ideal for discovering the activity, and is also an excellent back-up when there’s too much water in the Furon and Ecouges canyons.
Access is by a fifteen-minute walk to an old water intake, from where the canyon starts.
The canyon is virtually uninterrupted, with numerous obstacles for jumps and slides, and 2 zip lines complete the course. the highest jump we’re proposing is 8m, but it’s by no means compulsory. Other jumps are possible, ranging from 1m to 5m.
It’s an ideal canyon for discovering canyoning with friends or family.
The Versoud canyon is also ideal for EVG canyoning events. With this flagship activity, you’re sure to please the groom and make your weekend a success!
The Versoud canyon is at the same level as the Grenant canyon, but in a more vertical and condensed style.
